How Player, Banker and Tie Work

Player and Banker are the two hands in each baccarat round. They are labels only. You are not betting on LuckyBoom as the Banker. You pick the hand you think will finish closer to nine, or you back the Tie.

In the standard live baccarat rules, cards two through nine keep their face value, tens and face cards count as zero, and an ace counts as one. If a total goes over nine, only the last digit is used. A hand of seven and eight makes five, not fifteen.

• +Player: the first hand in the round.
• +Banker: the second hand in the round.
• +Tie: both hands finish with the same total.

Squeeze, Speed and Dragon Tiger

Squeeze tables slow down the reveal so you can watch the card corners bend before the full value shows. Speed tables cut the pause and show the result quickly, which can suit shorter sessions. Both styles keep the same Player, Banker and Tie options.

Dragon Tiger is a separate live table with two cards only. The dealer places one card on Dragon and one card on Tiger. The higher card wins, and equal cards produce a tie. It is a fast way to play a baccarat-style card decision.
